We are currently recruiting individuals who possess the skills, attitude, and passion to join our team in the Arlington, WY area as a DC System Integrator and Technician. The position requires an individual who embraces KB’s culture of maintaining and providing our clients with a high level of quality, service and safety standards while maintaining client priorities.

As a KB ENERGY, LLC Technician, your responsibilities will include various tasks throughout the work week that may include equipment installations, DC power board assembly, wiring, mock deployments, testing and various other RPS related work. Working with a team and independently, technicians will occasionally be needed for field work across the western US.

Some travel may be required.

Potential candidates should possess most of the following attributes:

• Adequate understanding of DC voltage systems

• Demonstrate proficiency at wiring and connections.

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Good understanding of technical principles

• Basic knowledge and understanding of DC components

• Ability to read/understand wiring diagrams

• Understanding of battery wiring.

• Installation of boards and cabling of equipment.

• Run, terminate, and test cables, both copper and ethernet.

• Knowledge of backup generator systems, fuel cells, propane systems is a plus

Work Conditions:

• Able to meet physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, use of a ladder.

• Able to lift up to 125 lbs (team lift) batteries into enclosures inside trailer.

• Able to work in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.)

• Able to travel to client’s job sites and assist with the job at hand when needed

Duties, Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting problems and replacing faulty equipment.

• Interface daily with Operations team, and management group to resolve issues.

• Execution of preventative maintenance routines 

• Completion and submission of reports, documentation

• Maintain the highest level of quality standards and cleanliness as outlined by KB and our clients

• Adaptation to both individual and team responsibilities.

• Willingness to work evenings, and weekends when needed

• Keep a clean and organized work space

• Valid driver’s license.
